Private Pilot Rating
The Private Pilot Program is designed for people who want to learn to fly as a hobby, for personal business or those planning to purchase their own aircraft. As a Licensed Private Pilot you are permitted to take family, friends and co-workers on your aircraft or the aircraft you are renting while acting as Pilot in Command. The primary restriction of a Private Pilot’s License is that the FAA does not allow you to be compensated for your skills. All Pilots must carry a Commercial Rating to be compensated or hired.
